BET Hip Hop Awards 2022 Winners and Snubs
In typical Vibeblogs fashion, we’re going to spare you all that glitz and glamour and get right into what you really want—the night’s BET Hip Hop Awards winners and nominations.
To begin, it is worth noting K.dot’s big steps at the awards show, grabbing the most number of Ws with 6 wins out of 9 nominations in hotly contested categories.

Kendrick Lamar pulled off these major wins at the BET Hip Hop Awards despite competing against other industry heavyweights like Drake and Kanye in highly competitive categories like Best Live Performer, Hip-Hop Album of the Year, and Hip-Hop Artist of the Year.
In terms of major Ws, he was closely followed by Drake, who took home the most nominations, taking home 14 almost-wins with 3 awards to his name, as opposed to his former rival and previous collaborative partner, Kanye, who received only a snub with 10 nominations and no awards.
Trina, described by XXL as “the most consistent female rapper of all time,” was also honoured with the I Am Hip-Hop Award at the event.
